Having travelled to his home counrty of Italy in 1984 Carlo reaslised his dream was to open a traditional Italian Caffe in the heart of Canberra. 2 years later his dream came true when in October 1986 he opened Tosolinis – then called The Corner Coffee Shop, seating 20. It has now evolved into Tosolinis Ristorante, Caffe and Bar, seating 150.
Carlo is strongly family oriented and this is reflected in the warm atmosphere reminiscent of Italian life. His philosophy in life is to ‘love what you do and do it well’ – this is clearly reflected in the continued success of tosolinis.
